Using the verb dar

Examples:
Yo te doy un consejo.
I give you (familiar) some advice.

consejo (m) means 'advice'

Tú me das un regalo.
You (familiar) give me a gift.

regalo (m) means 'gift'

Él le da las llaves.
He gives her the keys.
Ella nos da la tarea.
She gives us the homework.
Usted les da una lección.
You (formal) teach them a lesson.
Nosotras os damos el libro.
We (feminine) give you all (informal) the book.
Vosotros me dais una oportunidad.
You all (informal) give me an opportunity.

oportunidad (f) means 'opportunity'

Ellos te dan el dinero.
They give you (familiar) the money.
Ellas nos dan una respuesta.
They (feminine) give us an answer.

respuesta (f) means 'answer'

Ustedes me dan la información.
You all (formal) give me the information.

información (f) means 'information'

¿Me das tú el bolígrafo?
Do (you, familiar) give me the pen?
¿Le da ella la carta?
Does she give him the letter?

carta (f) means 'letter'

¿Nos da usted las instrucciones?
Do you (formal) give us the instructions?

instrucciones (f) means 'instructions'

No te doy nada.
(I) do not give you (familiar) anything.
No les damos permiso.
(We) do not give them permission.

permiso (m) means 'permission'

No me dais nada.
(You all, informal) do not give me anything.
