The rule for forming el imperfecto for regular -AR verbs is as follows: Remove the -ar ending from the infinitive to get the stem. Add the following endings to the stem: • yo add -aba • tú add -abas • él, ella, usted add -aba • nosotros, nosotras add -ábamos • vosotros, vosotras add -abais • ellos, ellas, ustedes add -aban |
