Spanish grammar - Attaching object pronouns to imperatives

Attaching object pronouns to imperatives

In Spanish, direct and indirect object pronouns can be appended directly to an affirmative imperative to form a complete command.

When both direct and indirect object pronouns are attached to an imperative, the indirect should come first.

There are many very common idiomatic uses of this form.

Examples:

di ( imperative - 'tell') + me (indirect object pronoun - 'me') + lo (direct object pronoun - 'it')
