Prepositional Case with на and дом

There are certain places that only ever take the preposition на in the prepositional case, even if we say 'in' in English.

Also the word дом (house, home) has a special prepositional form: дома (at home) and is used without a preposition. It is best translated as 'in one's own home'.

Examples:
	Поезд ещё не на вокзале. The train is not yet at the (main) station. вокзал (masc.) ⇒ (на) вокзале
	Трамвай уже на станции. The tram is already at the station/stop. станция (fem.) ⇒ (на) станции
	Обычно она на заводе каждый день. Usually, she is at the factory every day. завод (masc.) ⇒ (на) заводе завод and фабрика are synonyms though завод relates more to heavy industry.
	Их родители на концерте. Their parents are at a concert. концерт (masc.) ⇒ (на) концерте
	Кто это там на площади? Who is that there in the square? площадь (fem.) ⇒ (на) площади
	Что ты делаешь на работе? What do you (informal) do at work? работа (fem.) ⇒ (на) работе
	Он на рынке каждое утро. He is at the market every morning. рынок (masc.) ⇒ (на) рынке note the irregular prepositional form рынке
	Его машина на улице. His car is on the street. улица (fem.) ⇒ (на) улице
	Мое письмо на почте. My letter is at the post office. почта (fem.) ⇒ (на) почте
	Звезды на севере. The stars in the north. север (masc.) ⇒ (на) севере
	Планеты на юге. The planets in the south. юг (masc.) ⇒ (на) юге
	Солнце на востоке. The sun in the east. восток (masc.) ⇒ (на) востоке
	Луна на западе. The moon in the west. запад (masc.) ⇒ (на) западе
	Татьяна дома. Tatiana is at (her) home. дом (masc.) ⇒ дома
	Ты ещё дома? Are you (informal) at (your) home yet? дом (masc.) ⇒ дома
	Нет, я ещё не дома. No, I am not (my) home yet. дом (masc.) ⇒ дома
	Что ты делаешь дома? What are you (informal) doing at (your) home? дом (masc.) ⇒ дома
	Почему на пляже так много людей? Why are there so many people at the beach? пляж (masc.) ⇒ (на) пляже
	Почему на фабрике так жарко? Why in the factory is it so hot? фабрика ⇒ (на) фабрике фабрика and завод are synonyms though завод relates more to heavy industry.
