To say 'it seems' or 'it appears' we can use кажется. кажется is the third-person singular present of the reflexive verb казаться (to seem). It can be coupled with a dative indirect object (e.g., мне кажется means 'it seems to me') показаться is the perfective aspect which is often used in the past tense. |
