Demonstrative pronouns in the prepositional case

Russian demonstrative pronouns (this, that etc.) in the prepositional case are as follows:

• this: этот (masc.) ⇒ этом, эта (fem.) ⇒ этой, это (neu.) ⇒ этом, эти (plural) ⇒ этих

• that: тот (masc.) ⇒ том, та (fem.) ⇒ той, то (neu.) ⇒ том, те (plural) ⇒ тех

The plurals are the same regardless of gender.

Examples:
	В том магазине яблоки крупнее. The apples are bigger in that shop. тот (магазин) ⇒(в) том (магазине)
	В этой книге слова сложнее. The words are more difficult in this book. эта (книга) ⇒(в) этой (книге)
	На тех улицах есть большие дома. In those streets there are big houses. те (улицы) ⇒(на) тех (улицах)
	На этой улице есть автобусная остановка? Is there a bus stop on this street? эта (улица) ⇒(на) этой (улице)
	В том окне солнце. In that window is the sun. то (окно) ⇒(в) том (окне)
	Это самый красивый пригород в этом городе. It is the prettiest suburb in this city. этот (город) ⇒(в) этом (городе)
	Это самый большой город в этой стране. It is the biggest city in that country. эта (страна) ⇒(в) этой (стране)
	Татьяна в том магазине. Tatiana is in that shop. тот (магазин) ⇒(в) том (магазине)
	Что ты делаешь в этой комнате? What are you (informal) doing in this room? эта (комната) ⇒(в) этой (комнате)
	Кто это на том мосту? Who is that on that bridge? тот (мост) ⇒(на) том (мосту)
	Сиденья в этом вагоне самые маленькие. The seats in that carriage are the smallest. этот (вагон) ⇒(в) этом (вагоне)
	Почему они в этой комнате? Why are they in this room? эта (комната) ⇒(в) этой (комнате)
