There are many verbs with irregular futur simple roots.

Here are several of the more common ones:

Examples:
	J'irai en ville cet après‐midi. I will go to town this afternoon. aller ⇒ ir- + -ai ⇒ j'irai
	L'année prochaine, nous irons en Italie. Next year we will go to Italy. aller ⇒ ir- + -ons ⇒ nous irons
	N'y iront‐elles pas ? Won't they (females) go (there)? aller ⇒ ir- + -ont ⇒ elles iront
	Qui fera le ménage avant leur arrivée ? Who will do the cleaning before their arrival? faire ⇒ fer- + -a ⇒ qui fera
	Elles feront leurs devoirs demain. They (females) will do their homework tomorrow. faire ⇒ fer- + -ont ⇒ elles feront
	Il ne fera rien demain. He won't do anything tomorrow. faire ⇒ fer- + -a ⇒ il fera
	Savez-vous s'il voudra manger à son arrivée ? Do you (formal) know if he will want to eat when he arrives? vouloir ⇒ voudr- + -a ⇒ il voudra
	Nous ne verrons pas la lune car il y aura des nuages. We will not see the moon because there will be clouds. voir ⇒ verr- + -ons ⇒ nous verrons
	Sauront-ils ouvrir la porte sans la clé ? Will they know how to open the door without the key? savoir ⇒ saur- + -ont ⇒ ils sauront
	Nous pourrons venir chez toi. We will be able to come to your (familiar) house. pouvoir ⇒ pourr- + -ons ⇒ nous pourrons
	Tu auras vingt-six ans dans quatre jours. Tu ne pourras plus bénéficier des réductions pour les jeunes. You (familiar) will be twenty-six in four days. You will no longer be able to benefit from the youth discounts. pouvoir ⇒ pourr- + -as ⇒ tu pourras
	Ils devront entrer par la fenêtre. They will have to enter through the window. devoir ⇒ devr- + -ont ⇒ ils devront
	Vous devrez répondre par courrier recommandé avec accusé de réception. You (formal) must respond by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. devoir ⇒ devr- + -ez ⇒ vous devrez
	Ils disent qu'il pleuvra toute la semaine. They say it will rain all week. pleuvoir ⇒ pleuvr- + -a ⇒ il pleuvra

	Elle ne t'enverra pas le paquet avant mercredi. She won't send you (familiar) the package until Wednesday. envoyer ⇒ enverr- + -a ⇒ elle enverra
	Nous tiendrons également compte de vos antécédents professionnels. We will also consider your (formal) work history. tenir ⇒ tiendr- + -ons ⇒ nous tiendrons
