Sentences that include a subjunctive conjunction can be inverted so that the subordinate clause becomes the subject of the sentence. |

Qu'il vienne est très important.
That he comes is very important. |

Qu'il ne puisse pas venir est regrettable.
That he can't come is unfortunate. |
|
Qu'il ait dit ça m'a choqué.
That he said that shocked me. |

Qu'il ne puisse pas venir s'explique très facilement.
That he cannot come is very easily explained. |
|
Que la fusée explose est peu probable.
That the rocket explodes is unlikely. |
|
Qu'elle puisse venir, c'est certain.
That she can come, is certain. |
