In French, certain verbs can be followed by second verb in its infinitive (for dictionary) form. One such auxiliary verb is vouloir ('to want to'). So for example: • vouloir faire - 'to want to do' • vouloir voir - 'to want to see' • vouloir être - 'to want to be' • vouloir avoir - 'to want to have' When negating the ne..pas only goes either side of the auxiliary verb - for example ne vouloir pas faire ('to not want to do') . |
