In Chinese, when we use demonstrative adjectives with a specific number of objects, we use the singular 这 (zhè) and 那 (nà) - 'this' and 'that'. So, for example in Chinese, we say 'this 3 apples' rather than 'these 3 apples'. |

zhè sān gè píngguǒ hén xiǎo. These three apples are small. |

nà sì gè rén shì zhōngguó rén. Those four people are Chinese. |

那三个男人很高。
nà sān gè nánrén hěn gāo. Those three men are very tall.

那六个学生是朋友。
nà liù gè xuéshēng shì péngyǒu. Those six students are friends. |

nà liǎng gè wèntí hěn róngyì ma? Are those two questions easy? |
