The comparatives más ('more'), menos ('less') and tan ('as') are used to compare adjectives and adverbs. When making comparisons, we use the following patterns: • más que means 'more...than' • menos que means 'less...than' • tan como means 'as...as' When contrasting two adjectives, we place them on either side of the que. -- So for example: [A] es más grande que [B]. |
