These very common verbs form the past tense irregularly and should be learned by heart: • есть (to eat): он ел, она ела, оно ело, вы/мы/они ели • сесть (to sit down) он сел, она села, оно село, вы/мы/они сели Note: to sit down on (сесть на) something takes the accusative. |
