The following connective adverbs are used to begin a sentence that is responding to a previous statement.

• 그러면 – then, in that case

• 그렇지만 – but

• 그러니까 – so that's why, so for that reason

Examples:
	친구를 만났어요. 그리고 밥을 먹었어요. (I) met a friend. And we ate a meal. 그리고 – and
	농구를 좋아해요. 그리고 축구도 좋아해요. (I) like basketball. And (I) also like football. 그리고 – and
