Using 越 (yuè)...越 (yuè) for 'The more…the more…'

The structure 越 (yuè)...越 (yuè) is used in Chinese to indicate that as one thing changes, another thing changes correspondingly.

— It is like the English 'the more...the more…' or 'the more...the less…'.

The pattern is 越 + [verb/adjective], 越 + [verb/adjective].

Examples:
	他越努力，越成功。 tā yuè nǔlì,#yuè chénggōng. The harder he works, the more successful he becomes.
	你越说，我越不明白。 nǐ yuè shuō,#wǒ yuè bù míngbái. The more you talk, the less I understand.
	天气越热，我越不想出去。 tiānqì yuè rè,#wǒ yuè bù xiǎng chūqù. The hotter the weather gets, the less I want to go out.
	孩子越长大，父母越担心。 háizi yuè zhǎngdà,#fùmǔ yuè dānxīn. The older the child gets, the more worried the parents become.
