The preposition 为了 (wèile) is used in Chinese to indicate the purpose of an action. — That is, 'for what purpose' or' for whose benefit' an action is performed. It is often placed at the beginning of a sentence or clause to emphasize the purpose. |

wèile jiànkāng,#wǒ měitiān pǎobù. For the sake of health, I run every day. |
