In Chinese, to give the reason because, we use 因为 (yīnwèi). It can be used in response to the question that uses 为什么 (wèishénme). |

他不来因为下雨。
tā bù lái yīnwèi xiàyǔ. He doesn't come because it is raining.

我不吃因为我不饿。
wǒ bù chī yīnwèi wǒ bú è. I don't eat because I am not hungry.

我们不能去海滩因为没有公交车。
wǒmen bù néng qù hǎitān yīnwèi méi yǒu gōngjiāochē. We can't go to the beach because there are no buses.

我哭因为我难过。
wǒ kū yīnwèi wǒ nánguò. I am crying because I am sad.

|
|
我们迟到因为我们很忙。
wǒmen chídào yīnwèi wǒmen hěn máng. We are late because we are busy. |

tā yào nà běn shū yīnwèi tā méi yǒu shū. He wants that book because he doesn't have a book. |
