The reason 'because' using 因为 (yīnwèi)

In Chinese, to give the reason because, we use 因为 (yīnwèi).

It can be used in response to the question that uses 为什么 (wèishénme).

Examples:
他不来因为下雨。
tā bù lái yīnwèi xiàyǔ.
He doesn't come because it is raining.

下雨 (xiàyǔ) means 'to be raining'

我不吃因为我不饿。
wǒ bù chī yīnwèi wǒ bú è.
I don't eat because I am not hungry.

饿 (è) means 'hungry'

我们不能去海滩因为没有公交车。
wǒmen bù néng qù hǎitān yīnwèi méi yǒu gōngjiāochē.
We can't go to the beach because there are no buses.

公交车 (gōngjiāochē) means 'bus'

我哭因为我难过。
wǒ kū yīnwèi wǒ nánguò.
I am crying because I am sad.

难过 (nánguò) means 'sad'

我们迟到因为我们很忙。
wǒmen chídào yīnwèi wǒmen hěn máng.
We are late because we are busy.
他要那本书因为他没有书。
tā yào nà běn shū yīnwèi tā méi yǒu shū.
He wants that book because he doesn't have a book.
我去德国因为我来自德国。
wǒ qù Déguó yīnwèi wǒ láizì Déguó.
I go to Germany because I come from Germany.

来自 (láizì) means 'to come from' or 'to originate from'

他们很赶因为他们迟到了。
tāmen hěn gǎn yīnwèi tāmen chídào le.
They hurry because they are late.
我不想吃饭因为太早。
wǒ bù xiǎng chīfàn yīnwèi tài zǎo.
I don’t want to eat because it is early.

(zǎo) means 'early'

我不能喝酒因为我生病了。
wǒ bù néng hējiǔ yīnwèi wǒ shēngbìng le.
I can't drink alcohol because I am sick.

喝酒 (hējiǔ) means 'to drink alcohol'

生病 (shēngbìng) means 'to be sick'

我们不能去海边因为下雨。
wǒmen bù néng qù hǎibiān yīnwèi xiàyǔ.
We cannot go to the beach because it is raining.
