The Chinese structures 在...的时候 (zài...de shíhou) and 当...的时候 (dāng...de shíhou) are used to indicate that an action or state occurred simultaneously with another action or state. Both structures translate to 'when' or 'while' in English, but they can also mean 'during the time of' or 'at the time of'. |
