We previously saw how 可能 (kěnéng) can be used to express probability or possibility in Chinese.

When referring to a probable or possible 'future' action or state, it is common to add the auxiliary verb (huì) giving 可能会 (kěnéng huì).

Recall that (huì) is an auxiliary verb that can indicate future actions.

Examples:
他可能会迟到。
tā kěnéng huì chídào.
He might be late.
我们今天可能会见面。
wǒmen jīntiān kěnéng huì jiànmiàn.
We might meet today.
她可能会不来。
tā kěnéng huì bù lái.
She might not come.
她可能会和她的朋友一起来。
tā kěnéng huì hé tā de péngyǒu yìqǐ lái.
She might come with her friends.
明天可能会下雨。
míngtiān kěnéng huì xiàyǔ.
It might rain tomorrow.
他今天可能会不上班。
tā jīntiān kěnéng huì bú shàngbān.
He might not go to work today.
我们可能会错过公交车。
wǒmen kěnéng huì cuòguò gōngjiāochē.

更多 (gèng duō) means 'more'

他可能会不喜欢这个礼物。
tā kěnéng huì bù xǐhuān zhè ge lǐwù.
He might not like this gift.
明天可能会很冷。
míngtiān kěnéng huì hěn lěng.
It might be very cold tomorrow.
他们可能会不回来。
tāmen kěnéng huì bù huílái.
They might not come back.
