Chinese numbers are generally straightforward: • Chinese has unique characters for the numbers 1 through 10. • After 10, numbers are formed by combining the word for ten 十 ( ) with another digit. • Larger numbers in Chinese follow a similar pattern: — 百 ( ) means 'hundred' — 千( ) means 'thousand' — 万 ( ) means 'ten thousand' The word 零 ( ) is used for the number zero. |
