The Chinese word 假如 (jiǎrú) means 'if' or 'supposing,' and is used to talk about hypothetical situations. It is commonly used to discuss hypothetical or conditional scenarios in a more formal context. Both 如果 (rúguǒ) and 要是 (yàoshi) can also be used in the same way, but both more informal and colloquial than 假如. |
